About This Blog

Elizabeth and Janna are cousins, and definitely have inherited the organizing gene from their mothers and grandmother! And while they both are organized, they bring two different perspectives: Elizabeth grew up on the East coast, lives in Boston, and has a daughter starting Kindergarten. Janna grew up in the West and now lives in Seattle, and is sending her daughter off to college.  They each run their own business and face the same organizational and design challenges of any busy parent. Elizabeth and Janna hope that the stories, experience and tips they share will help you clear the clutter and make your home even more beautiful. You deserve it!

The Writers

Elizabeth Goodsell has been organizing and redecorating since she was little, starting first with sorting and re-arranging everything in her doll house....again and again. Tapping into her innate organizing tendencies, she started That's Neat! Organizing in 2006. Having worked for many years in the field of education for small non-profits, international organizations, and a large publisher, Elizabeth has moved on from the doll house and now brings expertise in organizing people, paper, and projects. That’s Neat! Organizing is a natural extension of her interest in education, which is really about change and growth. Now instead of working with teachers, she teaches clients simple and effective methods to get and stay organized.
