Elizabeth Goodsell, Certified Professional Organizer®

Elizabeth, founder of That’s Neat! Organizing™, began organizing at an early age, starting with sorting and re-arranging her doll house again and again. In 2006 she launched That's Neat! Organizing and now loves helping clients transform their homes and lives from chaotic to calm.

Prior to That's Neat! Organizing Elizabeth worked in the field of education. She brings experience organizing people, paper and projects through her work in small non-profits, education companies, and international development organizations. With That’s Neat! Organizing, Elizabeth’s professional journey with education continues: by teaching clients simple and effective methods to get and stay organized.

A busy parent and professional herself, Elizabeth understands the challenges of these roles. She creates storage solutions, processes, and simple strategies to help clients manage daily life, freeing them to spend time and energy on more important things. She won’t dictate her style or one system. Instead, she’ll listen to your concerns and create a customized approach to meet your specific organizing needs.

Professional Affiliations and Education

Elizabeth earned an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is a member of several professional associations focused on organizing. She received her Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®) credential in 2017. The CPO® credential identifies professional organizers who’ve documented a specific number of paid hours that include transferring organizing skills to the client, and passed the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers (BCPO®) examination.

Elizabeth was also awarded the Chronic Disorganization Specialist Certificate from the ICD in 2012, and understands the unique challenges of working with chronically disorganized clients, or those who have ADHD or OCD. She loves to discover new organizing products and strategies and participates in continuing education opportunities to better serve her clients.
